Question about Proof of Financial Funds

Hi all,

I know this is a bit of a silly question, but here it goes: I'd like to sponsor my family (mom, dad, underage sister) sometime in the next couple of years. I'm currently making 52k a year, so I can't sponsor a 4-person family unit. However, because my sister is underage and a dependant of my mom and dad, wouldn't that count as a 3 person family unit?

I know it's a bit of a stretch, just wondering about how these rules work.

Hi

You and every person included in the app must be counted for LICO. It doesn't matter that your sister is underage.

Also keep in mind if you have a spouse and/or children they also must be included in the family size for LICO.

So don't have kids or get married for the next couple of years. Or else u will have to earn even more $$.
