Good morning all!
Didn't sleep very well, I've been thinking about this application constantly! Here is my first question of the day.. And a bit of background info if you haven't read my 567 other posts
We are doing an outland application for my common law partner who is from Guatemala. Therefore the Mexico City office will be processing his application. In the event that he gets called in for an interview, I'm assuming it will be held in Mexico, am I correct?
Problem is, citizens of Guatemala need a visa to get into Mexico (sort of like a TRV). If he gets denied this visa (which is very common!), then he won't be able to go to the interview? Surely I am missing something here...
Also, does anybody have stats or data on that specific office? How long they take to process and acceptance rate? Before CIC changed things up on their website, I think it said average processing time of 8 months but now I can't be sure...
Any input, thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated!
