I just received the BC PNP nomination and now reading the IMM5690E checklist for application to the federal.

I have two questions and hope someone may help with them:

1) I am in the BC PNP - Skills Immigration - International Post Graduate stream. But I notice that in the IMM5690E form, there's a "Proof of Language Proficiency" requirement (No. 12). May I know if I need to provide this in my application to the federal? (I have not taken English test yet)

2) I'm the principal applicant, and I'm applying with my husband. I know I need to provide the "Police Certificates and Clearances". May I know whether my husband should also provide this?

Thank you so much for your kind help.

1. Proof of Language Proficiency is a requirement and so you would need it before you submit your application.

2. Both principal and spouse (and all other dependants of 18 years old and above) must provide police clearance for countries they have lived for 6 or more months since they were 18

I would love to know the answer to this too. I am also a BC International Post Graduate PN. The NOC code in my confirmation of nomination is "N/A 9914". It is not clear at all whether I have to send language test results with my PR application or not.

According to the PNP Application. If Applied in the PNP Application, then Language Test will also have to be applied. If not, then not even in it.

You mean that if language tests results were not requested when registering for Provincial Nomination then CIC does not need them when applying for PR either? Sounds perfectly logical. Where did you learn that information? Thanks!
