Question about possibility of a past visa refusal

Hi guys, I was confused about a question in my application which asks for any past visa refusals. I have entered this as no but I am not 100% sure about this answer. I was really young when my dad passed away and I don’t remember of any visa that he might have applied on my behalf and gotten refused. I did travel to a few countries with him but don’t have any knowledge if I was ever refused that he might have had. I don’t want to be refused for misrepresentation in that case. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is there a way I could check if I have had any refusals in the past when I was young? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

There is no way to check for past refusals.
