Question about PGWP

Hey everyone,

I graduated from my college this summer and applied for the PGWP afterwards, which was approved, and then it was sent to my mailing address, so everything worked out that way. I'm just wondering if I leave Canada to visit family and come back after, do I need another document to be able to be admissible into Canada? Or would my work permit be enough? I'm just scared to be in trouble somehow, as there's no stamp or whatever inside my passport about the current work permit... Thanks in advance. :) Hope everyone has a good day.

Based on your work permit, you need to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), you can do I within Canada or if you are in a hurry to go then you have to apply it in your home country with a copy of your work permit and few other basic documents.
you cannot enter back without a TRV

Ok thanks, is that the same as the eTa?? And I just need the TRV if I'm leaving the country right?
An ETA is only valid if you have a visa exempt passport.

ETA is for visa exempt countries (South Korea, European Countries etc). If you are from a visa required country, you definitely need a TRV. I suggest applying asap and make sure your passport has sufficient validity. Also current processing times for a online TRV application from inside canada is 61 days even though the website shows 13 days. i guess some kind of delay is going on.

Ok thanks, I actually have a European passport, so I guess the eTa is all I would need then... thanks everyone, this is just really confusing how things are changing and stuff...
