Question about my visitor status extension PLEASE!

Hi, everyone.

I'm about to apply for an extension of my visitor status since mine would expire on May 21st, 2015.. My question is... do I have to establish ties to my home country?

I told my husband that we probably should but he made a good point that I already initially applied for a temporary resident visa, which is how I entered Canada 5 months ago, and I have established my ties to my country then.

What do you think about this?

We're applying for my permanent residency here by the way through spousal sponsorship.. We sent out our application last March 9th, 2015..

Send in proof of your PR application (including proof of payment and mailing info if you have it). If you receive spousal approval before you send in the application, send a cop of that in too.

Yes we are applying outland. My husband's application to sponsor has not yet been approved though but we have received an email that they have received it. ;D
