Hey,

I would really appreciate anyone who can help..
I am Canadian, living in Canada, and I am sponsoring my wife who currently lives in Romania..

My wife is the only once coming to Canada (not her family). However the wording of some of the instructions suggests that each member of her family needs a Medical Exam:

“You and all your family members who are not already Canadian Citizens or permanent residents must fill out Appendix C and undergo and pass a medical exam, whether they will be joining you in Canada or not”

Does each member of her family really need to undergo the medical exam as well??

Just your wife and her dependent children (if she has any).

thank you so much guys, this was stressing me out.. the wording is really horrible. so im assuming when it says

“Supply 8 recent photos of each member of your family and yourself”,

that means just for my wife as well?

Yes - that's if you are sponsoring your wife only (she has no dependent children on her own that she might want to sponsor later).
Note : if she has dependent children that she might want to sponsor later, you have to include them now, even if they are not coming. If they are not included and medically examined now, they can never be sponsored to Canada. ever.

but as long as it is only your wife, then it's OK!
Good luck,
Sweden

Doesn't anybody ever READ the Sponsorship Guide before they start filling out forms? It's there for a reason: to help people fill out their applications correctly.
