Thanks alot for your prompt reply. Can you kindly tell me how much duration of PGWP will i be issued if i come there for a 1 year diploma?I already have 2 years of work experience as an accountant.will that help me get a PR as well.See i am 25 years old,Married,ACCA+MBA(in progress) from UK,2 years of work exp in my field, have family friends in Canada and 6.5 band Ielts.I want to move to canada on basis of diploma first and then apply for PR from there. It can be either PNP or General PR.Do you think i have made the right decision?
1. If you read the above link you get the answer to your first question:
A Post-Graduation work permit cannot be valid for longer than the student’s study program, and the study program must be a minimum of eight months in length. For example, if you graduate from a four-year degree program, you could be eligible for a three-year work permit if you meet the criteria. If you graduate from an eight-month certificate program, you would be eligible for a work permit that is valid for no more than eight months.
For 1 year diploma you will get PGWP for 1 year.
2. After your diploma you can apply to Ontario PNP if you have a permanent job (NOC 0, A or B) offered from Canadian employer. http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPSTUDENTS_JOBAPPLY.html#_qualify
3. Things to do after you get your PNP. Note PNP alone is nothing, you have to apply for PR after you get PNP.
