Question about Landing in Canada

Firstly I apologize if this question is posted in the wrong forum.

I plan on landing at Vancouver this Friday morning and then return back to the US (California) on Friday night (same night) just so I can kickstart my PR process. I will be providing a local Canadian address (Friend residing in Canada).

Is this allowed in the landing process?
