Question about job change during EE process

Hi,

I have already applied for the canadian PR and my application is in progress. I would be changing jobs meanwhile and I would like to know if this needs to be notified to them.

Also my passport has just 8 months validity and would it fine to renew the passport at this time?

As long as you didn't claim points for a valid job offer, no need to inform them
You can renew your passport.

I am also in the same situation. What did you do in your case?
I am in India and got ITA under PNP and want to change job now.
