This is probably a stupid question, but just to be sure.
I'm going to be sponsoring my common-law partner in the future. I am a Canadian citizen.
IMM5406 Section A asks for partner, mother, and father information.
The IRCC website states:
But, I am a Canadian citizen AND am his sponsor. So it feels like filling out my information on a form for eligibility to "sponsor them at a later date" seems like it could also be a mistake.
Which is it - fill out my info, or don't?

The IRCC website states:
So, I'm confused here. Does he fill out my information in Section A, or leave it blank? It says "you must declare all of your family members, no exceptions", so leaving my info out seems like it would be a mistake. If you’re applying for permanent residence in Canada, you must declare all of your family members. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
In addition, all family members must be examined as part of the process of applying for permanent residence in Canada, even if they will not come to Canada with the principal applicant.
Family members who aren’t declared and examined are excluded from the family class, which means you can’t sponsor them at a later date. If a permanent resident doesn’t declare all their family members on their application, they could risk losing their permanent resident status.
But, I am a Canadian citizen AND am his sponsor. So it feels like filling out my information on a form for eligibility to "sponsor them at a later date" seems like it could also be a mistake.
