Hi everybody, I've been looking for a similar case but I couldn't find one.
I'm a Live In Caregiver, and my husband is my only dependant (I'm sponsoring him), this saturday I will have my interview for COPR, his visa office is Mexico, he was lucky to get multiple entry visitor visa for 2 years, he just came to visit our daughter and me, a 2 weeks and a half ago, I wasn't expecting my interview soon, the question is after a I get my COPR, he will get PPR from Embassy in Mexico, does he has to inform CIC his address is now in canada and his case will be transferred to canada?, or does he has to return to mexico for PPR and get immigrant visa is there a way he can stay here and get his PR here? he has 6 month stay and its only 18 days since he arrived.
All your help will be appreciated.
Thanks and have great day

1. They won't complete his application until you "land"
2. They won't transfer his case to Canada.
3. Once he receives his PPR , he mails his passport to Mexico city, they will return it to his address in Mexico, they won't mail to Canada. He then has someone courier the passport to him in Canada.
