Question about Daughter (minor) citizenship application

My question is as we are outside Canada. While taking oath I will be in Canada. I have also 10 years daughter. She is not required for oath under the law as she is less than 14 years old. If she does not come while I am taking oath in Canada. Is there any issue for her. Her citizenship certificate will be given to me or they can deny her certificate as she is not in Canada?
Response is appreciated.

Hi what did you do eventually? Did you bring your kid to canada for you to take the oath?

submitted our application without my son's application due to a google search result and didn't open the page to read further. Missed reaching out to this forum earlier and it turned out to be a huge mistake.

Now I am looking at options to add my son to our application. So far, the recommendation was to wait for our AOR, apply 5(2) minor and to use parents application number and group number in a letter (additional document). But couldn't find if this worked for anyone.

Does this option work or should we wait till we get our citizenship certificate?
