Hi

How long does it take to actually receive CoPR in mail after the issue date that appears on it?

Many thanks

It's usually received within 12 hours. If you haven't received it yet I'd suggest writing to the PM.

12 hours??

yes i am ..
Got an email from CIC that my copr was issued by mail on Oct 29..
Still waiting,, which is weird because when i contacted Canada post, they said even regular snail mail shouldn't take longer than 3 business days..

Hi ujbaby & seniors who landed;

Kindly advise on below.

1. On the COPR will there be any specific location we should go for landing or it's our choice ?

2. I read on the website created by iam_toby that we need to fill PR card application at the time if landing. But I heard we no need to fill any forms. Can you clarify how it works? If we need to fill PR card application there, better we go there with profiles form.

3. After landing can we apply for SIN there itself in service canada counter or there is no such facility at border office?

4. How early we can apply for OHIP cards after landing? I assume no need of new SIN for this, just landed paper/stamp should be fine incl our passports.
