Question about completing citizenship application regarding time spent outside Canada

Hi, I have a question regarding time spent outside of Canada in the last 5 years and the number of days.

Do the days I boarded a flight from Canada and arrived in another country count as a day out of Canada?
Also, the date I landed, do I count it as one day out of Canada, as I had to cross the border to land?

Any day you spend any amount of time at all in Canada is a full day of physical presence. If you fly out of Canada at 6am on January 1st and fly back on January 10th at 11pm, both the 1st and 10th are full days of physical presence and the length of absence will be 8 days.

Any trips where you cross out and back in again in the same day, or out one day and back in again the next day, are absences of 0, but still record them on your physical presence calculator.
