No offence. Please take some time to dig up old threads for answers related to questions like this. Anyways, the job doesn't have to be related to the field of study. But however your occupation should of skill level 0 , A or B for sure. I don't think so 9422 is a skilled occupation and you are NOT eligible to apply under CEC.

unfortunately, vijayarr is correct. 9422 is classified as skill level C, therefore not eligible under the CEC program. I suggest you look into the PNP program for your province -

What posters here noted is true but I would like to stress on something to be eligible to apply under CEC:

Work must be "skilled" in NOC 0, A, or B, AND
Your work permit allows you to work in that job (best is if you have an open permit)

If your work permit is "closed" and work is specified that is similar to NOC 9422, it's impossible.
