question about CAP

Is it possible to get PER after we see on the website that the CAP is reached? Or is it that as soon as the CAP is reached on the website everything is closed?

After you see that the cap is reached, it really is reached, no chance of being accepted. The caps can even be reached before it is listed on the website because CIC is behind on opening applications.

So if your cap is full, either get a job offer or wait to apply until July 1st.

yes i know that. what i really wanted to know is, if there is any chance that we have already made the cap but they haven't sent us the e-mail about the PER yet. Are we notified before or after they update their website with the caps?

If you had already applied and website is updated with cap full at some point before you have heard back, it could go either way. You will not know for sure until you have heard back.

Thank you very much my friend. I would also like your prediction although I know you can never be 100% sure. Our papers were delivered there on the 1st of November. Our NOC is 3111 and the CAP today is 447/500. What is your opinion? Will we make it?

Dear Vangelis,

Right now CIC is working on around 20th Oct applications. Another 53 applications (that will be required to close CAP) will take 2 more updates. Updates are done weekly. So applications till about 1st week of Nov should be safely in.
