Hi,

I am a Canadian citizen by birth sponsoring my common-law partner from the UK. We live together outside of Canada. I am filling out my sponsorship application and am on the eligibility questions. I have answered no to question 4 as we live outside Canada. The copley guide says I should complete the section "Residency Declaration". What does this mean and where should I find it?

Thanks

Sorry, now I understand. The section immediately above the sponsor eligibility assessment is a big box entitled "Sponsor Residency Declaration." That's it, you tick two boxes - the main point of which is whether you will live in Quebec or any other territory or province.

Yes, that's the whole thing - two checkboxes. And you probably filled it out and didn't notice. It sounds like more than it is.
