Question about AOR2/ECAS Third Line?

Hi all,

I got an e-mail saying my application was transferred to my PA's visa office. Is that considered AOR2? If not. OK. That e-mail was sent to me on Oct. 13 and I have not received another e-mail from IRCC since then.


Also, I've heard about this ECAS 3rd line and I have no idea what that means or what it should look like. I have a line on ECAS that says

1. We started processing your application on October 25, 2017.
   
   
   I am confused since I haven't received any e-mail from my PA's VO yet. Any help would be great.

We started processing your application in Oct 25=unnoficial AOR2.

This means your VO received the application OCT 25. They will send you an email (hopefully) when they pick up your file. Right now, your file is in a review queue just sitting down in some registry room in w.e VO your being processed at. When an officer picks up your file(May be weeks or months from now depending on your VO, in my case it took almost 2 months) then usually they will send you an email letting you know the actual review has started. That will be your official AOR2.

My ECAS does not have the third line yet, but I (principal applicant) did however receive an e-mail from my local visa office stating that my application was received in September 2018 (the same date that is in the AOR1).

AOR1: 17 December '18
SA: 10 January '19 (ECAS and E-mail to sponsor)

Hey @ruanp28 . Now I am in same boat done and passed Medical and Biometric on Oct 1st, 2021 but (ECAS not showing "We started processing" yet or haven't received any email from VO? May I know what happened with your case? Thank you!!! hoping to get an reply from your!!!
