Question about affidavit from the translator

Dear forum members,

I translated all the non-English documents with certified national translator. On all the translated documents there is seal and signature from the sworn translator and also the following text:

"In witness that the foregoing is a true and correct translation into English done by me from the Macedonian original, I do affix my seal and signature, Signature of a sworn translator".

All of translations further are notarized in official notary office.

I received letter of proof from my translator that she is recognized translator. I need to show this document in the notary office in order to notarize the translations. Now I guess this document is affidavit. But this document is in Macedonian and it is issued by the Ministry of Low.
Should I send this document also?
Should I send it as it is a copy in Macedonian language?
There is no point to be translated from the same translator, we have conflict of interest. And if this is translated from other translator then I will need the affidavit from that translator and this can go on forever.
It looks like chicken and egg problem.

Any suggestions?

Including an untranslated document does seem a bit wrong.
I suppose you have two options:

1. Don't include the Macedonian document that isn't translated.

2. Include your own explanation of what the Macedonian document is, clearly marked so they don't think they have an untranslated document in the pile.

There is a valid argument for option (1) in that the document is neither asked for nor necessary [EDIT: this point corrected below, it is in fact necessary]. Personally I would go for option (2) by way of being thorough, but it is just an opinion.

Well to be honest I am not sure that the document is not asked for.
In the Document checklist there is no mention of it but in the Guide 7000 it is mentioned:

Translation of documents

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document.

Glad one of us is awake! You're right, so I would go with enclosing your own note to say what the document is.
