question about access to information act

i'm on the govt website and it asks if you are requesting information under the "privacy act" or "access to information act"
Not sure the answer?

ok so it must be "access to information act"
next question: what type of record would you like to request
presumably either "temporary resident" or "travel document application"

Temporary resident application -> Officer case notes -> Electronic



You figured it out already, but it's Privacy Act if you want records about yourself; Access to Information Act if you want records about someone else, especially if they do not have legal status in Canada yet.
