I was going through Alberta's new EOI system and noticed that you can earn points for having certain family connections. Specifically, it says:

"Points awarded for having a family member living in Alberta who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident over 18 years of age. Family member must be your parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, sibling, aunt, uncle, niece, or nephew. Points are not awarded for family connections with your in-laws. Maximum Points: 8."

However, on their official website under the Family Connection and Occupation in Demand Stream, it states that the required family connections for eligibility are a parent, child, or sibling.

So, my question is: Are connections like grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, or nephews only valid for earning points in the EOI, or would they make you eligible for the Family Connection and Occupation in Demand Stream too?
