Hello,
I am a final year student from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and I am applying for study permit for my master's studies in Canada (Fall 2019).
According to my Offer Letter, there is a condition of acceptance which goes like this... "Your admission is contingent on successful completion of your Bachelor's degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Once your degree has been awarded, please arrange for an official transcript, showing the awarding of your degree, to be sent directly from the institution to Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies."
To apply for my study permit, an unconditional offer letter is required but I have received a conditional one with the condition as mentioned above. Moreover, my 8th semester exams will get over on 17th June, 2019 and my results will only be announced a month later i.e., after 17th July, 2019. Therefore, It will be delayed to apply for study permit if I have to wait for my provisional degree certificate and satisfy the condition.
Therefore, can I apply for study permit with my mark sheets up to 7th semester attested by the Principal of my college instead of my provisional degree certificate? If not, please suggest the way out so that I do not miss out my opportunity to join my Master's program for Fall 2019 .
