Hi Friends,

Greetings !!!

My application for FSW 2014 reached CIC on 2nd July 2014.

I submitted the application without PCC, meanwhile, for PCC, I got appointment only on 19 th Sept at Bangalore RPO.
I have not received any communication from CIC yet, I am not sure what is the status of my application, but looks like I will receive the PCC only in first week of Oct 2014.

Will be too late or I should convert my existing normal PCC application in tatkal?

Also, I believe the PCC would be required for spouse, but would it be required for my dependent father (as per application) aged 68 years and kid aged 8 years?

Please suggest.

Regards,
Nishi.

Hi ,

i too got PCC from bangalore. I got appointment after 1 month and went to passport office at that day. I collected all documents per passport office website and went there. They told that there is no need of appointment and just pay the fees in their portal and you can directly walk in. I felt like   . I wasted 1 month waiting for this. Now comes the most irritating part, they saw the documents and asked for some thing for check list ???. I went back to helpdesk and asked them. they told that i should bring a letter from canada consulate or a check list showing that PCC is needed for applying for visa. I went home ??? . next day i came with the check list. They asked me a letter requesting for PCC :-X . i Wrote and gave them immediately. Then they allowed me inside for further processing.

I suggest just walkin in marathahalli passport office morning 9 to 11.
Yes all above 18 years should have PCC done.

Check list and letter is not mentioned in passport office website but it is mandatory .

Hope this helps
Enjoy and best of luck
