Query regarding Financial documents for University Visa

I have got admit from Concordia University, Montreal. I have a doubt regarding financial documents. Is it sufficient if I pay one year fees and buy the GIC bank account or need to show the funds for second year also? I am not taking any loan and have liquid funds for one year fees. Thanks!

Master in Applied Computer Science for September. Applying visa in first week of June.
