Query regarding Dual Intent

Hi All,
Hope you all are doing good.
I have:
-completed Bachelors of Professional Accounting in 2019
-1 year post study relevant work experience
-2 years during study work experience
- a sister (PR) in Manitoba
Now, I have made a EE profile along with PNP Manitoba profile and my crs score is somewhere 400.
I’ll be attempting Ielts 8777, then my crs score would escalate to 477
However, there is no FSW and god knows when CIC would conduct a FSW draw.

Now, i am thinking to apply for a one year PGD program in Ontario.
My query is:
Suppose I avail study permit according to the dual intent. So, being in the EE and PNP profile with 477 score, is it possible to receive an invitation during study period?
And also, Am I allowed to accept this invitation and my file would go through?

this is because i am getting mixed opinions. Kindly please answer

I’ll try responding based on how i understood your situation. You did not apply for study permit but you have Express Entry active profile with the CIC, and the FSW. Correct? Now your question is if you apply Study Permit and get approved,is it possible to receive ITA while studying??? The answer is YES. Will you allowed to and will your profile go through?The answer is YES. This is economic program..Provided you have good bands on your IELTS that will improve your point..

Now having active profile and apply for study permit, that will be another discussion

I meant:
I haven’t attempted ielts yet. So, I’m saying once i attempt ielts exam and get 8777. Then my score, which is now 400, would jump to 477 in total.
Also, can you please answer what do you mean by “Now having active profile and apply for study permit, that will be another discussion”.

Can you apply for a study permit with an active profile? I mean, ofcourse you can, but will you get it?

I think it would be extremely hard to prove home ties since you were already willing to leave those ties to emmigrate to canada. However, in IRCC website says that dual intent is not a reason for rejection.

If this is true I dont understand the point of proving home ties, it makes no sense.

Thanks ethan for clarify... that is exactly what i mean... proving ties and if you will return back to your country after your studies
