Hello Everybody,

I have a important and urgent query.

I'm a student who has cleared XII examinations ( with COMMERCE ) in June 2017 from Chandigarh ( India )
My father has applied for PERMANENT RESIDENCY for Canada via PNP in June(2017) and My father
is the Principal applicant and I'm the dependent child so I'm the co applicant.
As per the CIC website, they have started processing our PR file on 4th October 2017
and more than half of the case has been cleared, except the medical and PPR .
I haven't joined any college after finishing my 12th as we thought we might receive the
visa soon so instead of continuing my studies i joined a French Delf A1 course and the
result is coming on 18 January 2018.

After i receive the results what should i do next ? I'm not sure about the visa
as the PNP programs are slow and it might take longer time then expected to
receive a visa .

My question is ,what should i do till then ?
i mean if i sit idle and wait for the visa it will cause gap in my studies .

So my actual questions are :-

1) What should i do in the mean time to avoid the gap ?

2) Is there any crash course or something like for short
period of time which could help me to avoid the gap?

3) Or i should still continue my French which can help me to fill my gap ?

4) Any short course in India which is valid in Canada ( Manitoba ) as I'm

going to Winnipeg.
Kindly help and suggestions are invited.
Thanks in advance.

Librarian or Psychologist. (Psychologist is a lengthy course. You can do min. 1 year Dip. Course in Library field. Generally They don't consider less than 1 year course.)
Good scope in Canada.
The good thing is that their course is the same in the whole world.
now It will take 1 year to get Visa.

Moderate . But evergreen.
There is good progress after getting experience

Not sure where you are getting your information but library sciences or information sciences is usually a master's degree in Canada.

I have requested everyone to provide information in this forum. Thanks for replying canuck78. Anyways, I am waiting for the visa from the past 6 months and i am not sure when will the PR case of my father will be approved as PR via PNP is a slow process. Now i have decided not to wait anymore and continue with my studies. Therefore i have raised a query in this forum . Mr. Ashuindian has replied and suggested me to go for library course for 1 year instead of waiting for the visa and wasting my time. I can continue with this library course in Winnipeg once my PR is received . Please advice me and let me know, am i doing the right course?
