Query pertaining Open work permit

Can i apply for the open work permit and then apply for spouse dependent visa????

You can't just apply for an open work permit. That option doesn't exist. What is your background? Are you studying in Canada? Do you have a job offer in Canada?

I would be married to a permanent resident of canada. so hence the query is can i apply for the open work permit then file up for spouse dependet

You have to apply for spousal sponsorship first. If you are able to apply inland you can apply for OWP at the same time. If you don't have a TRV and are not from a visa-exempt country you may have to apply outland.

If you do not have TRV and thus can't apply inland, then you do not have an option of OWP.
