Query on NOC 0013

Hi experts,

NOC 0013 Senior managers – financial, communications and other business services

i am working as a sr. manager of a telecommunication company in technology division.
looking at the example title i found there are two telephone related titles:
1. CEO (chief executive officer) – telephone company
and
2. telecommunications general manager

the main duties specified in the NOC match with my job/responsibilities.


Now the confusion is , this NOC says "Senior managers in this unit group are usually appointed by a board of directors, to which they report."
i neither appointed by the board rather by the HR of my company nor i report to them , rather i report to my CTO.

My question is :
do I comply with this NOC

So finally applied under 0013? Keep me posted if the same works out. I had similar problem but I m into finance. I am a CA with 11 years experience. I had sent the file today under 0013.
