Query on Admissability

Hi,
I recently was ticketed for driving with an expired license in US. I forgot to renew the same as i am on work visa.

Will this be an issue of inadmissibility to Canada?. I plan to visit Canada and or work there.

Others can comment but unlikely will have any affect at all much same as a stand-alone speeding ticket

Something on the same level as a DUI a completely different matter though.

This will ultimately depend on if this will appear on your criminal record. Driving with an expired licence is usually a fine (like a speeding ticket). However if your licence was suspended, then inadmissibility could be a real possibility. It sounds like this was a simple traffic violation and would not cause inadmissibility (judging by what you have told us).
