Query on 2015 Express Entry PR

Hi All,

I am currently on work permit and have no LMAI. For Express entry PR, how to do I get the LMAI. Can I apply and get or is my employer need to apply for me ?

but without LMIA you still can apply CEC under EE, and when you get LMIA , update it .

To provide a little more clarity, what the OP has said is that you do not require a LMIA for CEC - so you can proceed in January with your EE profile in the hope of getting an invite to apply through CEC for PR.

however, without the LMIA you will be 600 points down. If your employer gets you an LMIA and you haven't yet been selected to apply for PR, you can update your EE profile and it will greatly increase your chances of being invited to apply.

Thanx for the quick response. If we do not have LMIA, we might loose points rite ? I have checked with my Employer and he told they will not apply for LMIA. What are my options ?

Then you just apply without it. That's the option. You will be in a similar boat to most apps who intend to apply through CEC.
