I have experinece in two different companies and not sure about NOC code.
1. Job Title: Research Analyst
Type of Establishment: Infodesk (IT Firm)
Level and Field of Education: Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacology
Main Duties:
• Work for company’s proprietary databases which contain development information of all drugs including novel compounds of various company’s pipeline
• Perform research to build a detailed understanding of information necessary for term mapping of Drug names, Mechanism of Action terms, Indications, Routes/ Formulation details, and variant Company names
• After completing research, suitable drug terms are mapped in company’s software. Ensure timely production of high-quality indexing of drug pipeline data, using an online taxonomy management tool.
• Mapping of drug terms done from four big source database including Thomson pharma
• Work with the pharma editorial Director and the Lead Research Analyst to ensure that term mappings meet prescribed standards and guidelines and reflect integrated source data review, consistency in preferred term assignment

2. Job Title: Scientist-II
Type of Establishment: Torrent Research Center
Level and Field of Education: Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacology
Main Duties:
Conduct various animal experiments for screening of novel active compounds (drugs) and find out most potent compound which can be further studied in clinical trials
To develop animal model related to project
Screening of NCE’s for in vivo efficacy
To search and collect literature relevance of projects
To handle of animal for dosing, blood and urine collection
To conduct experiments on selected models, analysis and to a limited extent interpretation of data, its documentation and compilation
To prepare instrument based SOPs and activity related protocols
To maintain and calibration lab instruments as per GLP guidelines
