Hi,

I have created my Express Entry Profile, but I am facing an issue while updating Education Details for my wife.

She has two Bachelor Degrees which also mentioned in WES's ECA report. But when I am adding her details, I am not getting credit for her two Bachelor Degrees. I am getting just 8 points, instead of 12 points.

CRS - Spouse - Level of Education 8

Can you please suggest how should update my profile so that I can get full credit for Spouse Education points.

I am including details from her ECA report.

Where are you getting 12 points from?

She has "two or more certificates" which amounts to 9 points. However, there are problems with the system and people are only getting 8 points instead.

This has been ongoing for the past few months.

You are correct, there is a bug for long time wherein it would calculate 8 points for 2 credentials for spouse.

I raised a query but it was never resolved but eventually i got my ITA

I feel your pain but there alot of people like you.

Hello Sir..

My wife's WES states as per following:

1. Credential Authentication: Official transcripts were sent directly by the institution
Country: India
Credential: Bachelor of Commerce
Year: 2003
Awarded by: Saurashtra University
Status: Recognized Institution
Major/Specialization: Accounting
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (three years)

2. Credential Authentication: Official transcripts were sent directly by the institution
Country: India
Credential: Master of Commerce
Year: 2005
Awarded by: Saurashtra University
Status: Recognized Institution
Major/Specialization: Accounting
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (four years)

Now, while filling education history in EE profile, I have selected both his bachelors and masters as Bachelor's degree in Canadian Equivalency section and I have been awarded 9 points for it. have I done the right thing??

Thanks

Hi
My wife's ECA report issued by WES states her Canadian Equivalency Summary as :

Bachelor's degree (three years), bachelor's degree (four years)
and postgraduate diploma (one year)

Will this be considered as 2 or more post-secondary degrees (9 CRS points) or can it be considered as a Master degree (10 CRS points)?

Thanks in advance for the replies.
