Query About the lenght of PGWP

i just completed my degree in 3 straight semester however the completion letter from my department says that the official length of my program is 3 to 5 semester??what is the criteria for the length of PGWP.
IS it the length of your program or the number of semester you completed your degree in?

and what things should i keep in mind while applying for PGWP..should i attach the completion letter and transcript as well or any other document while can increase my chances for PGWP of more than one year??

They go by the letter from college stating duration of the program. Now even if you have completed a 1 year program but if the letter states 2 years, you will get PGWP according to letter. Was this program of 1 year back to back three semesters, if yes you are eligible only for 1 year PGWP. Now, you might think what if i had dropped a semester and finished the program in 16 months instead of 12 months? it doesn't work that way, you would have still got just 1 year PGWP.

it's a one year program. 3 to 5 semesters is the duration to finish the program because "Full-time students can take a maximum of 3 courses and minimum of 1 course per semester" this way either you can finish this program in just 1 year or 1.5 years.

You did mention that college certificate you receive says duration of the program as 3 to 5 semesters, right? Anyway you have to upload the transcripts while applying for PGWP, so now you can only hope they give you PGWP basis 5 semesters.
