Query about PCC

Hi,

some people says, PCC is only valid for 3 months. but when i check it in CEC checklist, i found the below information.

Note: Police certificates are generally considered to be valid for one year from the date of issue;therefore depending on the processing time of your application , you may be requested to submit new certificates.

please clarify that whether i can send the PCC which is 4 months old with my CEC application or not?

At the time of application, your PCC should not be older than 3 months.

it better to get new PCC and submit to CIC.

Currently i am in implied status and applied for my Workpermit renewal. I tried to apply for New PCC. But the VFS india did not accept my PCC application as my WP expired. They said they will accept the PCC application along with valid WP.
so, in this case, i would not get my WP until jJan. also, i do not want to wait till JAN end.

so, please let me know whether i can include my old PCC and also attach the self declaration letter stating that "I will be submitting the new PCC after i get the file number from CIC.

any suggestions?

as per IMM5610 doc,Please note that PCC is not mandatory doc while submitting PR application.
you can submit PR application with PCC and later stage you can submit your PCC (i.e after getting AOR or at the time of VO request )
