I need to apply for PCC and I live in North Carolina so I understand the jurisdiction I fall under would be the Embassy in DC. Can anyone who can confirm this please? Also I am not seeing the address on the embassy website where to send the application for PCC. If anyone can share that, i’d Greatly appreciate it.

If you go in person, you get it on the same day. If you mail, it should take a week. It is safe to mail the documents, just use a mailing service with tracking number.

Yes, that has no relevancy. They will charge you $20 extra as you did not get it issued here. But rest will be the same.

Any experience with NYC Consulate.

How long will NYC consulate take to issue PCC if I appear in person? My passport is issued in India.

Also being an NRI does PCC through Passport Seva for Indian stay counts?
