Query about application

Hello everyone.

I wanted to ask if anyone experienced receiving messages from CIC with " Your application has been updated" but when I log into my CIC nothing has changed, no new messagges nor anything. It's the 2nd e-mail I get like this and nothing changed?

Anything to worry about?

Normally once you submit application online, you get new message in your e-mail stating that you have new message in your MyCICAccount which confirms that your application has been submitted. Next you get in your e-mail stating that your application has been updated, which normally means that your application review has been started. When did you apply'?

I exprienced same thing after my biometric trying to check mail whereas it below other list of items under 'open' where the status changed. So u too look other items under 'open' one or 2 items must have changed since u received mail twice.

I applied on 21 July and shortly after I received 2 e-mails from CIC one being the confirmation that my application has been submitted and the other one with payment receipt, both received on 21 July. After that, I received other 2 e-mails, one on 22 July and one yesterday both stating that my application has been updated but I didn't see any changes to my application.

for any update in ur application u gonna receive 2 emails..first on time of update and second one after exact 24 hours.
i came to know this by my personal experience. Now pls chk timings of ur mails.
