Query about accompanying spouse during Pr processing period

Hi, my husband applied as a single applicant for Pr under CEC as his points got down while adding me.so whether I have wait in my homeland till he get pr for applying dependent visa or visitor visa ? Or else I can apply a visitor visa during his processing time.guys pls help us we are confused what to do further..

Once he gets PR he can sponsor you to come to Canada. This process can take up to 12 months.

You can apply for a TRV; it will have no effect on his PR app.

If your husband has a work permit and a skilled job, you can apply for an OWP based on that. If he is already a PR, you would not qualify for an OWP based on his status. He could sponsor you inland and you could include an OWP app; it would be 2-4 months to receive it.

Yesterday my husband got notification about medical pass along with that we both got UCI number.besides he mention that am not accompanying him now.is it good idea to start my paper works for OWP

You can apply for the OWP. However it's possible CIC may then question why you are listed as non-accompanying in your husband's application. By applying for an OWP, it will be pretty clear you want to come to Canada now. That's the one risk I see.
