Queries regarding funds and application method under SPP

Hi all,

I have completed
* SSC in 2005 (77%)
* Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 2008 (65%)
* IELTS - 6.5 (No less than 6)
* Work Experience from 2008 till present in Mechanical field.

Now got letter of acceptance from George brown college, Canada for Mechanical Engineering technology (Three year Course)

How much funds do I need to show?
Is 1 year fees & $10,000 GIC is enough?

Also, i want to apply for a student visa under SPP?
As you all know there is an online Visa application system by CIC. Can I apply through there? Or do i need to make an paper application for SPP?

I have already created my CIC account and after putting all my details in, a required supporting documents list has been generated, shown as below.

Supporting Documents:-
Family Information (IMM5645) (Opens a new window) Instructions
Proof of Means of Financial Support Instructions
Passport or travel document Instructions
Digital Photo Instructions
Letter of Acceptance Instructions

Yes GIC and first year fee is enough. Additionally, attach ITR return of ur parents.

And i would like to know whether i have to make a paper application to vfs office for applying under SPP or can I apply online too?

My parents annual income is less than 4 lakhs. But my sisiter's income is above that. So can I attach her ITR instead of my parents ITR? If yes, then what other documents do i need to attach? Do i need to add her as my sponsor?

Also, there is an option in the applicaton form;
My expenses in canada will be paid by: Myself/Parents/Other
As i will be showing GIC, what option do i need to select?
