Queries on Open work permit

Currently I'm in Canada on ICT work permit. My spouse is also on different ICT work permit.

Is it possible for me to apply for the spousal open work permit from canada itself or I need to return back to my home country for applying open work permit.

Any input on this will be highly appreciated.

Which ICT work permit was approved first? Yours or your wife's?

My wife ICT got approved first. Mine got approved 3 weeks after that.

In that case you should be able to switch to an open work permit. You should be able to apply from Canada.

Hello guys, I need help!
I got closed work permit and intrested in applying for my spouse and kids. I have some queries please do help me in this regard.
1- Which format I have to use for applying. IRCC & GCKEY.
2- Application form has to be submitted under visitor visa or directly applying for open work permit visa.
