Queries on Open work permit for International Student's spouse in Canada?

My student visa got approved for next 2 years on basis of my admission to University of Regina. I am staying in USA on H1B visa from last 1.5 years with my wife and daughter who are on H4 (dependent) visa. I want to move Canada with my family. Can you please help me with below questions:

1. Which Visa should I apply for my 4 years old my daughter?
2. Is there any visa, other than Open Work Permit for my wife? Any visa which is for dependents not willing to work?
3. If my wife have to apply Open Work Permit, then can we apply it before I start my studies, as I am planning to start my studies in May 2018 and we have enough time before that.

Really appreciate your help.

I am not sure abt ur daughters visa type. I think u shud call ircc. But for ur wife OWP is best option. Get get a trv visitor and then apply for open work permit at the border. Note only certain border personel are aware of this method called flagpolling. So research where to go beforehand. Ur wife doesnt HAVE to work on a OWP, she just has the permit to. Hope i helped

Thank you Tonima for your reply and giving me the information regarding flagpolling. I will apply OWP for my wife as this is the best option recommended by you as well.

Can somebody help me to know, which visa should I apply for my 4 years old my daughter ?

There must be a way to attach ur child as ur dependent. U shud call ircc and be sure of the process
