Hello! I am currently a 4th-year nursing student in the Philippines and planning on spending my holidays this Dec-Jan in Canada with my relatives who are Canadian citizens (Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Grandparents) my second application has been declined. My sister also applied in her 5th year as an architecture student and she got approved the first try. Both of my refusal was because I do not have significant family ties in Canada and that they are not satisfied that I will leave Canada at the end of my stay. My sister and I both included the same documents.

The documents that I have provided are:
-Invitation Letter
-Letter of Sponsorship
-Letter of Purpose (holidays this my relatives dec 2024 - Jan 2025)
-My Sponsor's and My Bank Account (with a total of: ~CAD $56,000)
-Grandparents' Statement of Pension
-Property Tax and Tax Statements of my Sponsors
-My Certificate of Enrollment
-Clinical Rotations for My Shift (But it was on July)
-Itinerary (Departure and Arrival)

-Barangay Clearance

Questions:
1. Does being a nursing student have a bearing or harder to get approved?
2. Is it okay if I re-apply for the 3rd time on Dec (I got refused Oct. 10)? or is that a bad idea and I should wait for some time?
3. What more documents can I provide for the reasons of my refusal? (I think the bolded documents were the only considered significant ties in my country, so what else should I provide as a Nursing Student in the Philippines?)

Another information is that I am doing Hospital Duties in the Philippines now and until next year for our school requirement, if that helps. Please I need some help. Thank you so much!

1. Doesn’t matter. Order GCMS notes because they don’t think you will leave.
2. IRCC will think you desperate if your 3rd refusal. What is changing in the 3rd application.
4. Job letter with approved leave, payment of tuition, income property

Your sister’s approval also weakens your application.
