English is ok. Don't worry, we have two official languages in Canada

when filling the form A0520-BF, does the sponsored person have to give the information about spouse in section 3.1? similarly, when filling the form A0546, does the sponsor have to give the information about spouse in section 2?

Form A0520-BF: If the sponsored person is being sponsored by a spouse who is a Canadian or PR then you dont need to fill this section as the your spouse in this case is the sponsor.
You need to fill this if you are sponsored by someone who is not your spouse and you want to add your spouse to the application

The same applies for form A0546- the sponsor need to fill this if he or she is sponsoring someone other than his/ her spouse and they want to add the spouse as co-signer.

Hey, my partner and I are applying outland to quebec, for the CSQ it asks to provide proof of quebec address, my partner has lived in Australia with me for 2 years, what are we supposed to do about this section, he has no proof of residential in quebec

If you, sponsor, are temporarily living outside Quebec, you must enclose following form, completed and signed.

Look for a Form Déclaration du garant à l’étranger - A-0539-F (Declaration of Sponsor Abroad - Family Class Category).

i sent the undertaking application for my wife yesterday. It should be received at the MIDI office by monday hopefully. Does anyone have any idea what the average processing time is these days for undertaking applications and CSQ for outland applicants?

Wait until you get the CSQ and then send it through a web form. This is just to be absolutely sure they have it, because MIDI will transmit it to your local visa office

Thanks, yeah i havent got csq yet ive sent it though 5 days ago, i just received that email from my vo asking for it and i was just wondering when i have it how to submit it.

30-60 days deadline is just to keep PA on their toes. These deadline can always be extended if you have already sent your CSQ Application to MIDI and delay is from MIDI's side.

If after 60 days Federal don't receive your CSQ by either MIDI or You, they will email MIDI (Garants.DSIQ@midi.gouv.gc.ca) to determine if PA have submitted application or not. Federal is aware of backlog issue at MIDI, so don't worry.
