I agree with this post, even if French is not required. You are making a mistake if you come to Quebec without french. Even grocery store jobs needs bilingualism. Also, government officers are very rude with you if you dont speak in French (Generally)sunil789 said:If you have applied in 2011 and then you would be awarded the points for language proficiency as per the rules and the regulations at that time. So it is fair enough that u have undergone the basic beginner level of french. Then also I advise personally to strengthen your case to the visa officer before the final evaluation process you get through to the intermediate level of french training. Coz only applying is not important you need to convert your application into selection.
Best luck dear go on
Dear EFK, First of all if you get married then you can upgrade the information to the visa office Montreal, and your points will be calculated accordingly as per the requirements for the married couple. It doesn't make much difference in the points scenario if your spouse is well qualified and possess the basic knowledge of French Language.EFK said:Am planning to do my TCF Quebec on 18th April - its the earliest exam there is in my country..so does that mean that I cannot submit the papers until the results are out in early May??
From AbuDhabi, I believe average processing time is 36 months....is it really worth it? I don't know yet what to do anymore...
I've only done Bachelors in Business Admin, but according to the online assessment, I'm eligible to apply...
so do you guys think its worth it? AM sure my job isnt going to be in the new FSW since its the most common sales/customer service type...and I can speak/understand french so maybe I should use that to my advantage?
I don't mind living in Quebec at all, but out of curiosity, in case i don't get a job there, then can I move somewhere else?
Also, if I get married in these 3 years, will it slow down my application to add my spouse?
thanks
Yes nowadays it is taking too long for the actual evaluation process after the opening of the file, but you can expect the final evaluation soon as some people have got the evaluation who applied till March, 2011. So after 31st March your evaluation process will be completed after one or two months. And in next mission of the Interview of country definitely you have the strong chance of getting the Interview letterjimmy80 said:Hi everybody,
Lebanese resident in Qatar, I already applied for QSW since June 2011 and i got the letter of file opening since August 2011.
Does anyone can has an idea regarding the processing time and normally how long it takes to get the CSQ?
I seems it's taken too long to be called for an interview of selection and if we have a positive response we need more than three years to get the visa.
Thank you for the help from anyone who is in a similar conditions or from an expert in immigration.
