The number of applicants is low. i doubt it would even reach 10k by end of calendar year.

"Effective August 1, 2013, applications will be processed in the following order:

- applications from candidates submitted under the Programme de l'expérience québécoise (Québec experience program)
- applications from candidates who submit a valid employment offer
- applications from candidates who obtain points under the factor Area of training
- any other application submitted by permanent workers"

I currently work in Montréal, not in my profession though which is nursing. For now, I'm doing translations over here. Does my current employment count as a "valid employment offer" even though it is not considered to be a skilled profession?

i want to apply for QSW
can any body tell me that how much time it takes as per new system ( after aug 13 )
and should some on rush to apply now even without IELTS at this time ??
