Your file is now transferred to Local Visa office. The next ECAS status would be `Decision made` and you will get the PPR. Good luck.

Does issuing pre-arrival letter mean anything? like some check/processing completed? after or before a background check?

Earlier, 3/4 years ago, Pre-arrival letter (PAL) generally came just before or PPR. So, it had some meaning that your application will be finalized soon.
But now, PAL lost its value and has no-significance at all. You can assume your application-filing is complete and can be processed further.

You can check my PAL date from my signature and can compare it with others.

Nobody can tell the duration these days. It used to take 2 to 4 weeks before. Gap in my DM & PPR isn`t normal for us but it`s normal for the IRCC….haha.
It was in the 1st wave of pandemic and everything was almost close.

Hey everyone, at what time you usually receive the AR email? I'm in a time range with what others are receiving so...
Quite anxious actually...

Friends,
one of friend has got the CSQ last Friday. Can he apply via online or still go through paper format ?
thanks for your help.

I received portal email today asking me to respond with few personal details. My dependents also received the same email.

Question: Do we all need to respond separately as we received separate emails or principle applicant can respond by adding dependents details in same email?
Can you share your time line?
