I m trying to call ircc for the past 2 weeks and can't reach them. Was anyone able to talk with an agent recently? I just wanted to celebrate our 1st year anniversary from the application date....

Nearly 13 months for me and nothing...
I'm waiting for my ATIP notes, I should receive them in a few days.

Finally, I received the golden PPR email yesterday!

Whenever I see a post from you I hope that you got your AOR, because after you, it will be our turn (July 2020).

Try calling them a couple of minutes before 8 am or try calling on repeat between 12-2pm.

Usually I call around 8.05. Today I tried at 7.58. I thought that they just stopped taking calls.

Based on the current statistics, on average it takes around 14 months to receive an AOR. But if you are lucky enough and one of those outliers, you may receive it earlier or the other way around.

My only fear is that they will start processing outlands (who applied long time before me) when the borders reopen and we will get our AOR in 2022 as similarly happened for July 2019 applicants.

I doubt they will start processing outlands any time this year, too much uncertainty with new variants and all. We should be good.

I don’t think so that outland applicants processing ll affect inlands. I’m optimistic that hopefully we all ll be done with the PR process by the end of this year or start of next year. But if we go far behind in the queue and don’t receive AORs this year, then we could be in the situation in 2022 like 2018 and 2019 applicants are in now. On top, the new online application system could also bring new surprises to us.

I fear the same. I would not be surprised if they do so. Anything is possible in this messy system.
