does anyone know how long it takes the cic to reply and give me sign-in information, if i have received the portal email? days or weeks? thank you
I got that email on Friday. I replied after working hours. They sent me credential 3 days later on Monday and they issued my eCOPR on on day later on Tuesday. I assume your Visa Office is Montreal like me (you can find it in PR portal email).

I've heard longer timeline for EE applicants: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...ion-on-the-new-pr-confirmation-portal.713804/

Hello everyone,
I was looking at Arrima invitations lately and found that they have issued around 3000 CSQ invitations since the 1st invitation in July 2019. Nowadays they are sending AOR to April 2020 onwards applicants, in fact IVM in most cases. I’m wondering why would it take them longer( more than 2 years) to process merely these ~3000 applications? Or Did they also issue more CSQs through PEQ program that’s why now they have a backlog and slow processing?
Because if we consider that the March 2020 applications have received AORs then we are left with only few hundreds CSQs based on the Arrima invitation table.

I think that the majority of CSQs are through PEQ program.
Personally I find only one reason to be optimistic. The fact that they give AOR to April 2020 applicants is very good for us (July 2020) as because of last year's (end of March- beginning of June) almost global lockdown, I expect only few applications to have been submitted between April and July. So if AOR means place in the annual Quota, and considering the fast processing time for the recent AORs, I believe that there are good chances to get our prs by the end of the year.

That what I was thinking about. If they send us AORs within the next couple of months and they have already started some sort of background processing pre AOR then it’s pretty much possible to get PRs by the end of the year.

Althoug it is a still long procrss, but I guess it is a bit of green light for applications for later 2020s and 2021s that may/june 2020 started to get AR and IVM.

On EE side, I have a friend who got ITA when crs was 75, he applied in march and got PR a week ago....

How many from May/June 2020 got their AOR? Anyone in this group?

That's true but in few months, transitional measures will come to an end and then they will be very few new CSQ from PEQ workers program. People will have to work for 2 years. Maybe the PR inventory will be processed during this "white year" (august 2021 to august 2022).
