Have anyone received AOR recently? My application is received on the 1st of October, 2019 and I still haven't received my AOR yet.....Is that normal? I have my own company and is working for myself, can I extend my own work permit?

You have travel history - how long, where and why you travelled.
For every country you lived for more than 6 months - address, police certificate, what you were doing - work, study.
Be careful don't miss a day! If you don't remember exactly, write about 5 days or don't remember. Don't leave unexplained gaps in your history!
Truth nothing but the truth if you don't want to get in trouble. If you lie and they find out it'll be worst than admitting a mistake. You stayed legally so I don't see what is worrying you. You were waiting for the next project but it didn't happen. That's all. Why you need to explain the wind up part !? Be short and clear.

So you mean to say I should make only single entry for whole period even I didn't work but stayed (mapped to India location by my employer) for those 27 days??
Or two entries (what should be my status in canada for those 27days )?

Nope! Nobody who submitted their federal application as a skilled worker from Quebec after mid-July 2019 has received the AOR.
i am not sure about the legal terms of work permits during your stay in canada. pardon me, if you are working on a project for a few months and you stayed extra 27 days , what would be the problem ? you are not expected to depart the next day ! you paid rent, you have friends and people to meet before you leave, and places to visit since you were busy working ....
so i am not sure about the exact dates of your case, people here tell you to ask a lawyer because there are many details here we are not aware of, i see you are a legal alien, with a work permit, finished your project, worked a bit online on your stuff while having some vacation days before flying home!
@Bnglr_1 The fact here about your status has been decided at the port of entry, where the immigration officer asked you about the purpose of your stay! and then you entered canada as (worker, visitor and pleasure, specific visa) whatever the condition on the visa, as long as you did not over stay, then you are fine. so the problem is only when you change your intention of stay vs the visa/permit.
I'm sorry to hear that. This is getting ridiculous. My application was submitted July 2018 as well and I received the request for medicals November of 2019 (and I got approved a week after).
So I applied in July'18 although ECAS says IRCC has the receipt of the documents in September. Just received medicals via email out of the blue with months of no activity. Do you know how long it takes to get PR once medical is passed? My concern is that the security is not yet started.
The security usually starts after the MR is passed. Some people get DM within a few months or weeks. I think that depends on your security check and background. Gook Luck!
Thank God! I just received a request letter from IRCC, Schedule A update (Police certificates are not mentioned) followed by a Pre-service arrival letter. I guess this is a good news
