I just finished 18 months
Anyone has same timeline

My SO has a similar timeline but we haven't requested his GCMS so we don't know what's passed and what isn't. He still hasn't received request for medical.

Application received: 2 March 2018
AOR: 28 March 2018
Pre-arrival email: May 10, 2019 (first sign of life since AOR!!!)

The pre arrival is a sign that Eligibility is passed. You can call CIC if what checks are passed. Im already on my 17th month and I already passed all the checks including remedical. The latest update is my file is at LVO for PPR

It varies/ depends on each applicant. There are a lot of factors including country of birth, visited countries, involvement in the military/ organizations, etc. There are separate threads available, you can check!

Even if you call they will give you only information about your case. They can't even send a request for the reason of delay before you pass the official proceeding time. They are just telephone agents who can consult the logs on your file, they don't have any power to interfere.

Did you submitted consent form with the GCMS note request ? If not, Probably they will never sent any updates.

while submitted through online I did not update my Consent form. I got email for asking consent form, afterwards I sent it through email.

Of course they cant help you expedite your file but atleast you know your progress like Security, Background Check which Ecas and GCkey cant provide.
